Hi Guys.....and Gals,
Is any one using SLi with the Antec Nine Hundred Case ?
I've currently got and Asus P5N32-E SLi Plus Mobo with a single BFG 8800 GTS graphics card powered by the Enermax Galaxy 1000W PSU. as the PSU is mounted at the bottom of this case the large extraction fan on the PSU now sits facing up.
I'm contemplating a second BFG 8800 GTS card to run SLi, but looking at where its' going to sit in the Mobo Im a little concerned about the space available and more importantly the airflow to the second card.
It looks like it will fit but the graphics card fan is going to be sitting a couple of mm above the PSU fan. so each fan will be fighting to take air away from each other.
Has anyone got this configuration already? do you notice the second card overheating as the air is being stollen by the larger PSU fan?
Also looks like I wont be able to connect the USB extenders as they run along the bottom of the Mobo, and will probably be covered by the graphics heatsinc and fan. This I can test by swapping my single card into this slot, but its the cooling issue I'm concerned about mainly.
