Hi all

been looking at this case and im liking it so far but i have a couple of questions before i commit to it,

will a 8800 series gfx card fit inside?
will a tall cpu cooler (prob asus silent square) fit inside?
im hoping to be running two raptors, does the fact that the front of the case is just mesh mean that the Hdd noise will be more noticeable?

thanks all

Loki

Hi,

1) Yes an 8800 card will fit inside your case, an 8800GTX is big but it will fit you my have to be tidy with your cables and maybe move a hardrive down a slot, but yes it will fit.

2) I have seen some big cpu coolers fit inside this case i.e a tuniq tower, zalman cnps7500led and a big typhoon, and they are big coolers i would imagine you will be fine :)

3) I have a two raptors in RAID 0 and they don't make any noticable noise you would have to put your ear to the case to hear or really really listen for them to hear them.

1. Yes.
2. Tuniq Fits Fine
3. I have a raptor and the noise doesnt bother me.

Thats an 8800GTS

Its a lovely case but definatly not a pleasure to work with I wasnt too pleased that my Tuniq tower didnt fit inside the Antec 900 case, it does fit but if u wish to use the side case with the additonal fan to take out the hot air u cant.

Also my GTX was almost hitting the end of the case.... and ive got the GTX 768meg see in my review u can see it even hitting the end of the case almost.

It took half a day to build and proberly just to cable tie and manage it..

Cooling is excellent though never seen my hdd temps and cpu temps this low getting 40-45c on cpu (Q6600) and hdd temps of 25c, use to be like 40-50c.

But all in all for 60-70 quid not ideal and not a future proof case, Im gonna go with the Silverstone TJ09 its 180 quid but looks better, and is perhaps one the biggest cases out there, makes an ATX full size mobo look like a mini atx board.... size counts especially if u want to enjoy upgrading/building a pc and dont wanna spend half a day mucking about.
