Antec Nine Hundred.. System Speaker?

Howdy,

Another question I have bout my new Antec Nine Hundred case... does it have a built in speaker for the PC mobo speak bleeps etc?

I had one big plug labelled AUDIO, but that is now mounted to my x-fi.. and that won't produce the bleep Im sure? My Coolermaster Cav has a built in PC speaker, and I plugged a 4 pin orange plug into it, that created the infamous "BLEEP" when you booted, had problems etc?

The AUDIO plug has about 5 or 6 little plugs coming off it, but Im sure I read they are for a different type of connection if you cannot use the big plug? Also there are too many to go on my 4 points on the mobo for the PC speaker, and they dont match up.

So I am assuming that the Antec does not have a pc speaker on it? If so say you have a mobo issue... I won't hear any beeps?

Anyone got a PC Speaker on their Antec?

no speaker in the 900, mine is on the motherboard.

Nope, no speaker. I put one in. Just for the first few posts. Then i took it out because it is so annoying. The Audio plugs are for the Front Panel Jacks on the top.

Yeah I figured that... damn thats annoying bout the system speaker... feels wierd not having the generic beep on boot. And if I have a siren going off cos of a hardware failure or sumin, I'm not gonna hear jack so will never know... might have to rip the speak outta my coolermaster box I think, I've already knicked the 120mm fan to make 4 120mm fans and 1 200mm fan in my case... be nice and cool in there!

Is there any space to fit fan dust filters on the front 120mm fans as this is the only thing that worrys me about this case..

Do a seach of a auction site for "AKASA fan filter" to see the fan filters i thinking about...

Ahh thats good... never knew that existed. Yeah I'm quite sure they will be able to fit on the fans in there... why don't ocuk sell those?
