Just a general query im hoping someone can help me with. The antec nine hundred says that the case is designed for the psu to be located at the bottom of the case. What therefore happens if you have a psu wich has a fan wich blows down. IS there a different configuration in this case for psu's with this fan setup?
Cheers

k Cheers that link says it can be both ways providing that there is an air intake on the floor of the case. What is the best way to have it then, the fan blowing up i.e psu upside down or normal?

The fan doesn't blow, it exausts air out the back of the PSU - so you want it facing up sucking hot air from inside the case out the back of the PSU. Unless there is a vent at the bottom of the case then you could have it facing down, so it only sucks up cool air from underneath the PC case (keeping the PSU really cool).

So in a case with a compartmentalised design (á la the Antec P182 and Lian-Li PCA-10), it's be best to have the psu's fan at the bottom, intaking cold air?

is there a vent under the psu in the P182? its the case im gona be getting.

Just looking at the video review on the Antec site, and there's no vent at the bottom.

So installing the psu with the fan at the top would be the way to go then, especially if you're using the 120mm fan between the psu chamber and lower HDD cage as is.

Yep, its mounted upside down in the 900, it allows the psu to be mounted either way up. You wont need the extra hdd cage fan on the back, trust me. Nor even the side panel one.
