Antec P1000

Well. That's a monstrosity.

I dont know how they managed something so nice as the P180/182 and then nothing but nightmares afterwards (900, 1200, Skeleton..)
 
It's not too bad, just not good either.

I think it would look better without the vents on the side. It looks like they are trying to crossbreed the P series with their blue-LED-fan-and-front-vent series, which is a bit of a lazy design method in my opinion.

Whats with the handle(?) on the top-front?
Probably quite nice inside with good cooling/cable management though.

antec really don't know how to make a nice case do they (certainly not as bad as Tt, but there are soooo so many better, nicer cases for the same price)
 
Seems like a stupid thing to do to release it in the p famiely when its quite clearly in the gamer series of monstrosity's, vulger at best and reminds me of the cheap cases that come with 400w no name psu's, you know the sort.
 
Wish manufacturers would stop releasing these crazy LED-ridden 'gaming' cases. They were cool at first (and when I was younger) but I don't like the look of this one, it's too like the P180 and the NZXT Lexa had an ugly lovechild.

The new P183 looks much better, though I still think I prefer my P182 atm. The only thing that can be nicer is the high end silverstone and lian-li cases, they're pretty mint!
 
Antec have lost their way recently, has anyone else seen the pics of the new "mini skeleton"? It's like it's older brother only with odd proportions.
