Antec P150 - noise matters

Thinking of an Antec p150 as they seem to be well designed for noise reduction - esp. the rubber bands for the drives

Q1) Anyone tried the rubber band method on one of these ?

I'm getting very sens itive to the vibrations / noise from any drive
to be honest and this seems like a greaa idea

Q2) Anyone tried notebook drives instead ?

be far easier to try the elastic band mehod in the 5.25 section off the pc, theres a thread on the hdd section that shows pics and how it was done.

Or just get a silent enclosure box, fixes the issues/I went with a scythe silent box, keeps the hdd about 70% noise off I now cant have it outside the box cos I find it noisy! and its a seagate 300gigger SATA drive which is already silent!

Only bad thing about silent boxes the temps go up a lot... but aint too bothered seems to be ticking fine.
