Having just installed my CPU and a AC 64 silencer fan to my mobo, im trying to figure out where to tape down 1 of the probes as the AC64 fan seems huge. Should I have attached the probe on 1st somewhere alongside the CPU and the put the heatsink on or does anyone have a suggestion on where to put it now its all together?
The case instructions dont really give a good guide to probe placement.

Well I havent put my mobo into my case yet. Is it worth taking the fan off, cleaning the cpu and starting again with the probe attached before the heatsink goes on?

Ive tried to put it right on the corner of the underside of the heatsink with a tiny bit of insulation tape to hold it in place so hopefully it will be ok Maybe it might be better just placed on my mobo or somewhere in my case instead of near the cpu and let software monitor the cpu temp.
I just wanted to be able to keep an eye on the temp at a glance rather than using software windows.
It comes with 2 probes and I was going to stick the other one to my X1800XT to monitor the temp at a glance but if anyone has any better suggestions that would be great.
