Basically, what's the best way to have the fans set up?

I'm gonna be using Akasa ambers so should be nice and quiet anyway.

Do I need the fan in the bottom chamber or will the PSU pull enough air through?

Should I mount the hd's in the bottom chamber or in the top section?

Should I have 2 exhaust fans, and 1 intake... 1 exhaust fan, 1 intake..... 2 exhaust fans, 0 intake...... 1 exhaust fan, 0 intake........ ???

i could go on ;) lol

2 intake, 2 exhaust. i have the same case, orgional fans plus an amber infront of the top 3.5" drive.

i jsut have one harddrive in each chamber keep the heat sperate, doesnt resonate etc.

2 exhausts in upper chamber, one amber and one nexus (was testing how quiet it was, will be replacing all the ambers with them soon). And the X1900 blows out the back too.

PSU is the exhaust in the lower chamber.

HDD's are all located in the upper chamber, 3 of them (2 raptors 34gb and 1 maxtor 350gb)

Temperatures are good.

I have an Akasa Amber as a back exhaust, and another in the lower chamber. The top exhaust is the thick stock fan that came with the case which is on high. And i have another of the stock fans in the middle intake part on high. My hard drive is in a CoolerMaster Drive 6 (it came free with my PSU).

So i have 2 intakes and 2 exhausts, pretty quite becuase i have music on or im playing a game etc. At night if i leave it on to download stuff, i put the too stock fans on low.

what's the temperature of the raptors? do you think it'd be higher if you had them mounted in the bottom section without the fan

i only use the two regular fans ,one as top exhaust n other in front of upper harddrive cage which houses a wd raptor n lower has 200gb seagate. tried both in lower cage but raptor got very hot. cpu never goes over 44(x2 3800) overclocked by 400mhz

After a 2hr defrag (they are one stripped drive) they were showing as 44oC surface temperature.
