Hi,

I'm looking for a case to replace my current noisy cheap gaming case which has 4x 80mm fans.

Needs to be quiet and with good cooling to suit an overclocked opteron 165 @ 2.6Ghz paired with a 7800GTX.

I have an enermax PSU with long leads so that should be fine.

I'm looking at the Antec as it has 3 x 120mm fans and the PSU doesn't bathe in the heat from the CPU and GPU so it should be able to maintain top performance. I'd also like to drop my overclocked temps a little so airflow is important.

Any other recommendations?

Need to do something before I go deaf

Well the antecs are good but some, not many, but some have build quality issues with the door warping for example.

Other cases you could consider, well any case with dual 120mm fans can be made to be very quiet.

How much money do you have in total for the case?

Lian Lis are nice with 2x120mm fans, but the sound proofing on the antec p180 is its main attraction.

Yewen, I think they have fixed the problem with magnets now. There is a revised door.

If you want a no-frills silent case the P180 is great. Build quality aint too good and you might be cramped in there. But its silent.

There is nothing on the specs about the revised door, and from serial numbers I havent been able to see on any new revisions.

The V1100+ is having a new revision come out next month, nothing major though think its a revised installation sheet of all things!
