this case is about a year old and will antec do replacement for me?

Yeah, Antecs RMA service is one of the best. They should send you some new panels free of charge. All you need to send them your invoice (I scanned and emailed mine).

Took around 1 week to get my replacements :)

are they metal hinge on the newer panel?
yep i still have the invoice :)

No, they are still plastic ones. The side panel themselves are reinforced to stop the bending issue that was affecting the earlier panels. :)

....they email back saying "We afraid that the accident will not be covered in Antec warranty."...

what did you say to them to get replacement?

Do you tell them you ripped the door off after 5 minutes of pulling at it, because to be honest i may have replied in the same vein.

My hinge broke because the door wouldn't go back to 270 degrees, as Antec state that it should.

Going back to OcUK for a refund.

I've done the same thing to mine after the door got stuck. If you keep the case screwed on it doesn't really matter too much, depends how much your in and out of your case. I'm too lazy to RMA it :p Just switched the broken panel to the "wrong" side.

EDIT: Good luck getting it sorted, Antec are suposedly pretty good from what I've heard/read.

I'm suprised at their negative response, i have had loads of spares from Antec... great service unfortunately the plastic they use is rubbish.

For spare side panels just mention warping.

For your information and for any other P180/P182 owner,
Point one, side panels are not called doors and so do not have hinges.
The door on the front of the case does fold back 270 degrees as stated but you have to push the vented strip(left hand side)sideways to the left that the door is attached to first..
Then you can fold the door all the way back to the side.
All that holds the lefthand vented strip in place are top and bottom pins.
Place your thumb of right hand at the top of veted strip and thumb of left hand on bottom of vented strip and push it to the left.
It will pop back.
I have seen loads of reviews of this case and every review says the door will not fold all the way back.

No hinges on the side panels, they are called lugs that hook into the case.
