Antec P182 drive rails?

Bought one of these used. Was going to buy new, but they are out of stock everywhere.

Seemed like a good deal, new condition. Barely used. Only thing it was missing was the fans. (Which was fine, I was planning on changing them out anyway).

It arrived today.

Dents on the inside of the case.
Drive covers missing.
Toolbox thing missing.
Screws for the drives missing.
Fan controller on the rear missing.

But most importantly, the rails for mounting the drives on were missing. So basically, it wasnt just the fans that were missing. Everything other than the case and it's drive bays were! Anyone know if it's possible to get these seperatley or not?

If the item is not as described I would ask for a full refund.
 
I'm waiting on a response.

Best case scenario is that they forgot to put them in and send them up.

Most probable scenario is they dont have them. In which case, I'll see how much the rails cost (can only find them on the US Antec site, the EU one is down). If they are going to be too pricey (most likely), then yeah, it'll be a return.

There is NO fan controller, it is just the three way switches that are part of the tri-cool fans.
They cannot be used with any other fan anyway.
They are the exact same switched 3 speed fans as on the first P180.
You cannot connect to any other fan.

Well, it controls fans, its a fan controller :p

Either way, you missed the point it seems.

I'm going to wait for a reply and see. The case isnt shoddy, it's just missing bits! :(
 
£70 with postage. Didn't plan on buying off an auction site originally, but:

Was advertised as "As new" but minus the fans. (Which wasnt a problem as I already had replacement fans sitting here).

Isnt in stock anywhere I looked. (+Was ~£20-£30 cheaper, with postage, than anywhere else that I saw)
 
You can get the rails seperate mate. I've seen people ask for them in the members market and get some posted to them. Eventually someone will come along here who has some they're not using.

Wasnt thinking, but Antec and Chieftec are basically one and the same arent they?

I've got two sets in my Chieftec Matrix case which arent being used. So would only really need another 2 pairs.

I'll have a look back on the antec website in a few days, see if the EU shop is up again by then. At only $7 in the US shop, will probably be about a fiver in the EU one. Which I could live with. (saves hassle)
 
It included postage. Granted it is only £20-£30 cheaper than new, but the case itself is more or less fine, bar the dent, but that is on the inside. Just want to know if im going to get the rest of the gubbins for it or not.

Like I said, those"controllers"on the case are hard wired to the tr-cool fans that come with the case when new.
The fact that they are missing means nothing as they are part of the fans.
IF the fans are not connected to the case then they will be"missing".
ALL that they are are three way switches wired to the fans.
No tri-cool fans = no three way"controller".

The seller is being pretty sound about it. He was selling it for his son and didnt realise things were missing. Gonna see if the stuff was missed out when it was boxed up. But is also offering a complete refund due to the minor damage and things missing if I want.

Found I could get the case new for £85 (Including vat and postage), so may go that route just for the sake of having a new one.
 
Yeah it's my second. Well, one P180 and one P182. Have to say though, for such small changes, the P182 is a much better case to work on!
