Antec P182 fan

Hi all,

Got my P182 case today and it is very nice but one problem is that the top fan does not seem to work. I have everything plugged in and everything else is going fine just not my top fan.

I tried swapping the cables round with one of my other fans but still no luck whereas the other fan when swapped still works.

Any suggestions please as i dont want to have this nice new case without it working 100%

Take it back to where you purchased it for a replacement would be the correct thing to do.

If that's not convenient, then Antec's backup service is legendary. Report it via the Antec support site, and they'll have a new fan on its way to you within a day.

check two things: that you have the fan set to max with the little switches at the top-left of the outside-rear of the case; and that the fan is powered-up correctly before you send it anywhere.

sorry if you've already done that - I'm constantly overlooking the simplest things and panicking before having to calm-down and take a new look .

if you are 100% sure its broke, get a new one from antec using the warranty, they probably wont even ask for the broken one back because the postage would cost more than the fan.

Had the same thing, didn't even have to supply proof of purchase. Got one in three days from the states, must have cost them a bundle!

Thanks for the help guys. I will try a little later on after work to try get the fan working again but if no luck i will contact Antec for a spare.

Bought P182 and very pleased with quality, any P182 Guru's tell me how the front lower 120mm chamber fan is assembled, dosen't seem to be a bracket to place fan in.... Cheers for any help..
