I've been trying to find out everywhere, what are the rpm and cfm for the fans at each setting?

I've got a noctua 1300rpm just lying around and i wonder if it would be better to just put that in instead.

You can download the information about tricool fans here from the Antec website.

I think this is what you are looking for.

High
2000RPM 0.24A (max.) 2.24 m³ / min
(79 CFM) 2.54 mm-H2O
(0.10inch- H2O)
30 dBA
2.88 W

Medium
1600RPM 0.2A 1.59 m³ / min
(56 CFM) 1.53 mm-H2O
(0.06inch- H2O) 28 dBA 2.4 W

Low
1200RPM 0.13A 1.1 m³ / min
(39 CFM) 0.92 mm- H2O
(0.04inch- H2O) 25 dBA 1.56 W

I can't bear mine on medium, perhaps i'm too picky. Looking to replace them, anyone done this yet? I know there's a few in the P182 thread. I was looking at noctuas but the sharkoons look ok too, plus they're not as expensive. Anyone hae any experience with how loud these all are? Ideally i'd like something silent but as powerful as the antecs on med/high.

ive just got a silent eagle 2000, says it's 76.4 cfm @ 36.1db which is louder than the antecs, but it's on my cpu cooler, sounds quiet tho.

I know a few ppl who have a good few of the silent eagle for intake/exhaust, they don't seem to mind :)

Very tempted by the noctuas, though the price is high! I have a noctua CPU cooler + fan and the quality is worth it, just have to justify 3 more fans now.....

Have some replacements on the way as I can't stand these any higher than low too. Bought some Yateloons from the MM

Just replaced mine with 3 sharkoon 2000 silent eagles. At full speed they are quite noisey but I have mine running off the motherboard so they usually run at about 1200rpm which is basically silent. The motherboard only speeds them up slightly when playing games as the temp starts to rise slightly.

I replaced mine with 1200rpm scythe jyuni fans. Not only did I find the tri cool ones rubbish, but they also have awful cables that just look a mess!

I replaced the fans in my P182 with 3 Noctua P12's. I couldn't manage to fit the vibration compensators, though seems quieter than it did with my original P182 fans and a few degrees cooler.

Replaced mine with a couple of xilence fans I had lying around yesterday. I just couldn't stand the noise, still loud on low and barely moving any air. Much better now but thinking of some noctuas when i get the chance.

first post woo! ;)

I'm looking at the silent eagles now against the noctuas. It'd be the 1000rpm eagle or 800rpm noctua, the latter of which is pricier. I just want a good balance of quiet and cool. £8 a pop for the eagles may sway me.
