hi,

managed to get hold of this case, just wondering who uses the fan in the lower section by the psu.

cheers......

I use it, but i'm thinking about changing it for a low rpm slimmer fan to aid my cable management, as things are a bit cramped. It's fallen out of it's mount too, and I don't have the time to fix it atm! Planning a big rebuild soon with cable braiding and some mint cable routing, new fans etc.

I think you can go on without it, though expect your HDD and PSU temps to potentially increase. By how much, I don't know.

cheers all,

cabling is my main worry as i'm trying to make sure i keep it tidy , but can't see a way of getting my 24 pin power to the socket.

cable is fairly thick so going through the slot above the psu is a no no as i can't see that the sound/graphics cards will leave a gap for it without bending it nearly 90 degrees.

if i run it around the back of the motherboard tray, due to the thickness of the cable i think it will cause problems with the case side going on :(

Theres enough room round the back. Just be willing to push pretty hard :p. The amount of cabling behind my mobo tray causes my side panel to bow out a bit, but its fine :).

mm just concerned with the case pushing on the cables it might damage the wiring and knacker the psu :(.

It fits fine if it's a similar size to the one on the Corsair HX620

Rig has changed a bit since then though, but see how the power connector comes round the hole in the mb tray from where it feeds though the back. Planning to re-do all this and get stuff braided+right angle SATA and so on soon. And maybe some new fans!

ahhh cheers alex, my issue is the PSU isn't modular so i'll have more wires to filter through the little cut out section :(.

still got a bit of planning to do on mine, can never understand how others get theirs so flipping tidy the gits :).

look forward to seeing more of your pics when it gets re done :).
