I have a weird problem with my Antec P182 - my PCI wifi card (InexQ CR 054g) is not working inside this case, more specifically, with the side panel closed. When I take the side panel off, the card is working perfectly. This card has an external aerial outside the case. Does anybody have any idea why this is happening?

Antec P182 owners, any idea?

Many thanks for the replies.. Whole this problem doesn't make much sense to me. It seems as if a closed case created some sort of a shielded cage, but on the other hand, the wifi card has got an external aerial. I have to try a USB wifi adapter to see how it behaves. Any of Antec P182 owners - do you use a PCI wifi card? Which type/manufacturer is 100% within this case? Thanks...

Have you tried moving your case? If it is interfering with the signal rather than a different type of error you should be able to tell by moving your rig closer to the router or by simply rotating it so the case isnt blocking the signal path. Hope that helps!

PK!

Yes, I have tried to move it around.. That was the first think I tried. Only after that I opened the case to check something inside - and the connection came on straightaway. Now the conclusion is - 1. the case without the side panel is - wifi is working properly. 2. the case in the same position only with the side panel on - wifi with no sign of life.
