Hey Guys

Just brought a Antec P280 case bloody gorgeous unit tbh...

Now its running 1 intake 120mm and 3 120mm exhaust..

Now the cpu fan is running at an insane speed when on load... when the front dust cover is on and as soon as I pop it off as its a quick release instant rpm drop on the cpu...

any clues or install second intake as my case as too little air in there?

Cheers folks

Where are your intakes and exhaust fans placed?
Edit: Just looked at your case, I'd opt to run 2 fans. 1 in the front intake. If you have your HDD's organised you can move them towards the bottom of the case and get some decent high CFM/AF fans in the front, and just behind on the hdd cage itself, to push some air towards your mobo/cpu.
Until then you can pop the dust filter off for now until you get some more fans in. Just remember to clean the dust out before you install the fans :)

Just crnt believe how much restriction the dust filters make....

Strange really how the cpu fan drops as I take the filter out lol

Any1 seen an amd fan hit 6500rpm on load before? Noisy!!!

Cheers

Lol only when they involve dubious videos involving dares and fingers.
What cooler do you have on your cpu? Maybe you can get a different fan on it.
