Haggis country.
I've had the above case for a number of months now and it has a rather annoying vibration noise that is now really starting to annoy me. I cant for the life of me find where it's coming from.
It has the standard out take fan at the back and a nexus 120mm in take that added to the front. Other than that the only fans it has inside is a freezer pro 64 and the one on the gpu which is a 7900GT, it definately isnt the gpu as its been the same noise throughout many different card changes.

Has anyone else found these cases to have this vibration noise? And if so have you been able to isolate it and come up with a solution?

Cheers.

Edit - just to note that it's sporadic, and that when it happens if i place my hand firmly on the case at the top or the side it seems to stop till i take my hand away. Perhaps the case is just badly manufactured full stop :(

Doubt its the build quality.

Have you tried doing anything to the hard drive, and does the noise come along when there is a CD in the drive, as this is a prime cause of resontion and vibration in cases.

The rubber dampeners can do next to nothing in some cases, dont be so quick to eliminate them.

Try running the PC with them not powered.

Yeah i had the same problem with my sonata 2 case there would be a feint humm which would get louder...then quiet..then louder etc. And if i rest my foot next to the case the noise would go till i moved it again. I thought it was the hd's but i took but the rear 120mm tricool fan and the noise has stopped now, gets quite toasty in there now though.
