Hi, i was wondering if someone could help me with deciding which case to get. I've had a look at this case and it looks really good, but ive heard that the PSU isnt really any good. Im building a pc in summer, not a hugely powerful one so i think the PSU could cope, but in the future i plan to upgrade it. So my question is, would i be able to remove the earthwatts psu and replace it with a new one in the future? Could anyone give me a review of the case?

Thanks

If you do that you might as well buy a serperate case like the Lian-Li PC 7 Plus:

Fatastic case, build quality is top notch and also great cooling.

Then as for the PSU get something like the Corsair 520:

Hi Josh,

You are in the same boat as me, as I am building as half decent rig soon aswell and I was looking at this case. As this is an Antec case and PSU the quality is good and for reviews these were the best I found

http://www.xsreviews.co.uk/reviews/cases/antec-sonata-iii/1/

Or if, like me you cant be bothered to read heres a video review

http://www.tomshardware.com/site/flash_videos/video_antec_sonata_iii_case_review.html

I'll add my 2p to these reviews aswell. From what I could tell the Eartwatts PSU has 34A on the 12v rails. The corsair 520 has 40A

Generally speaking you only need around 30A to run any single graphics card so as long as your not planning to SLI, this PSU should be fine for future upgrading.

I agree with stickroad though, if you do have an extra £40 or so to spare get a corsair 520 and different case.

As for me, I think this Sonata 3 case will suit me fine.

Hope this helps
