Are they particularly unreliable, the 450W Smart PSU's that come with the case?

Overheat problem, but it's sorted with OcUK.

Quite a reliable brand, certainly not an unreliable PSU there. Been around for a few years with more than acceptable failure rates.

I've had this case for a while running an overclocked 7800GT, overclocked CPU (x2 3800+) and have never had any problems with the PSU or the case.

i have all the stuff in my sig + a few extra case fans, a DVD-RW and a dual cathode lighting kit running on a 500w antec smartpower. Great PSU's

This PSU was faulty from purchase, hrm, strange.
