My power supply went pop crackle and out. Its completely dead, am looking to buy a new one, even though its just 2.5 years old case. I've lost the receipt.
The model is True 380SP, which PSU can I replace it with. Also is it likely to have cause damage to other components?

You'll be able to replace it with any PSU you wish. Something like these are of similar power output but featurewise are far superior to the Antec of yours that's gone pop. Personally I'd leave another antec psu aside for a bit. Can't help but feel the quality of their psu's have gone downhill :(

Generally, brand name PSU's don't wipe out components when they implode, but there is still a possibility that it has. Only way to find out is to test your rig with a new PSU.

Mul,
In your first post what are the blue
& black connectors for?
I'm not 100% positive but I'm willing to bet they're for the GPU, perhaps a dedicated rail or two to ensure plentiful supply to the device that frequently is the most power-hungry in a system.

Also my mobo is A8Nsli deluxe, will the power connector connect to it?
Yep.

Fill in this: http://www.antec.com/EUnewticket.html, they will replace the PSU with similar or better.

The top two blue sockets are probably PCI-E 6pin. Those are the sockets that all the modular cables connect to. It'll have all the cables you require and probably plenty that you won't require.

see here:

That's the 580W version but the cables should be near enough the same.

Will this PSU fit in my case as well?

Tagan Easycon Series (TG-580-U15) 580w ATX PC PSU

Heard a lot of Antec Sonata PSUs going pop.

Two of my mates had them go about a month ago. Not just not working, burning smell and going back just like OP. :(

I passed a Smartpower 450W PSU from a Sonata II to a friend and it's on the verge of going pop as well now..

The Tagan Easycon's should fit in a Sonata without a problem.

that happened to my one in my old Sonata II case. only happened when i replaced the motherboard. luckily nothing (except the psu) was damaged.

Postage & weight

Does any one know how much the PSU weights or the cost of shipping it to Rotterdam. They agreed to RMA based on the serial number. :) :)
In meantime I bought a Tagan Easycon Series (TG-580-U15) 580w ATX for £66
