Antec Spot Cool 100 System Cooler

Have the 80 model, great job for when i had sli gtx 470's. Mounted behind the cards to blow air between them, led to both cards running the same temp in game. Previous to adding the spotcool, the top card ran upto 10c higher.

Had it mounted to the motherboard tray in my lian li A70F using a case stand off and screw.

I also have an Antec 80, mounted in a similar waht to Setter's. Mine is positioned to blow onto my Northbridge heatsink as my GFX card gets in the way of me mounting a fan directly on it.

The one I have is an older model with 3 manual modes (L/M/H). I have mine on low with a fan controller to take it down to 1300rpm (from 2000) and it takes about 4/5°c off the NB temp whilst being silent. After about 1800rpm it's audible from about 1metre away from the case.

Mine is the old one with the 3 speed settings as well. I just left it on full speed. Tbh, with 470's in sli, i was never gonna hear the noise of the spotcool.:D

Another vote for the 80. I have one cooling my ram and northbridge. Does a great job and is inaudible at the lowest setting.

Many thanks guys. It seems everyone has the Spotcool 80's. I wonder if the Spot Cool 100 is too new for any reviews. Hmmm?

Thanks for the pic Setter, thats how I would prolly fit it. I have about the same amount of room in my case lol... loads of bloody room! ;)

I think the 100 would be a pretty decent one, due to the larger fan. Great thing about lian li full towers, acres of space. My current shinobi xl is also a full tower, despite having similair dimensions to my A70F, there isnt anywhere near as much room inside. I was unable to use the spotcool with sli in the xl.

Well I like the look of the 100 more but then it will be inside the case... the case without a window so no one will see it anyways hehe. I dont know how loud it will be as its got two speeds (I think) but I will want to hook it up to the case fan loop (controlled by a twisty knob at top of case) so I can have it on full or turn it down when im not gaming. I know the fan is larger than the spotcool 80 but does it produce any more air pressure? Hmmm I wish there more reviews.

The one you linked has dual mode not two speeds. It's either full speed or thermal control.
