Thought id show you what ive been doing with myself this afternoon.

Was fairly straight forward, the only bit that caused me to have a smoke break was the edge trim as took forever to get it seated round the curves.

All in all im very impressed that I did it and didnt write off my side panel.

Ive read in some peoples instructions that if you dont have a jigsaw to use a dremel to do the whole lot, dont do that !, I cut about 10cms with the dremel as I didnt have a jigsaw then realised things are going to get messy and a bodge was very highly likely, so a trip to B&Q it was for a jigsaw.

Just out of intrest how are the temps on your GPu's/case since removing the side fan? Looks amazing :D

Note: I cant stop looking at that new window! Makes the case looks 10 times better! Id love to get that case and do that my self! (knowing my luck id **** it up and waste £100! lol

beofre doing this mod i ould have all case fans running high, it was audiable but nothing too bad, the ati's are on a fan profile and never get about 45%

since the mod i have turned all case fans to low, ati's are still on same profile.

as for temps the cards idle @ 27 top 29 bottom, cpu is at 33 34 36 33. with this mod i can only say that the temps have dropped by 1 or 2 degrees ( with fans on low as appose to high )

if you have an antec and want to do this mod, do it, s long as you watch tjharlows youtube vid and follow his directions you CANT go wrong.

Lol i would be very tempted to do that.. but it would be chickening out lol i couldnt look at my self in the mirror and call my self a modder..... *turns away in disgust*

i really thought i couldnt do it, i called a mate up who mods vw van interiors and he said he would do it for me no probs,
after a few days of having all the gear here to do it, i did it, and im happy i did, just need to get rid of this once used jigsaw now ! lol
