Hi guys,
I have an Antec 550w TruePower PSU which I purchased some 2 yrs ago. Will this PSU work ok on the new Gigabyte DS3 board that I intend to buy? I think PSUs these days a 6-pin connector (Im not sure on this) which my PSU does not have.
I also will be upgrading to a PCI Express Video card. I will be buying a molex to PCI-E power adaptor so that I can use the video card as my PSU does not have such a connector.
MY current psu has a ATX power connector and a 4 pin connector (which plugs into the motherboard).
Thanks.
EDIT: Ive just been reading up and it seems that some psus (especially the older ones) are not powerful enough to run PCI-E cards. Is this psu capable of running say a ati x1900gt card?
