Antec's latest products!

I do have to say I am pretty damn impressed by Antec now, with your representation.. direct answers to questions etc :)

Will keep that in mind when I decide to upgrade.

No problem, remember if you ever have any questions feel free to trust message me any time. I'm not here to sell, but to help answer any questions people have about products.

Thanks a bunch Ace Modder, fair enough reason. I was actually aiming the Seasonic G series which are/were very good, but now on a second check they don't seem to have fanless mode either and I think that's for a reason since all the people complain about Corsair PSU's clicking noises, etc. I really thought it was more due to the unit's fault rather than the technology being not so polished.

Yes, OcUK are going to be the exclusive UK stockist for the side panels. They are due to arrive in about 5-6 weeks.

Nice one Ace, I think it would look great with the window panel. Also don`t think it will will make much difference to noise levels, well at least not to me.
So, hopefully I can treat myself next birthday, end of October.:D

Do they still have teh long thin cables? Antec psu's have always been in favour with me due to the excellent length on the cables and how easy they are to manipulate into position in tighter cases (like lian li's)

Definitly would recommend you do that as the Corsair HX series is made by CWT who is not nearly as good as the original TruePower series.

HX up to 650w = seasonic
HX over 650w = CWT
TruePower = Seasonic

Corsair like to save costs using CWT.

When did they change over to CWT out of curiosity? I've got 4 year old HX750, is that a Seasonic inside?

Check the box if the part code is CMPSU-750HXUK it is seasonic, if the part code is CW-XXXXXX-UK (X's being numbers) then it will be a CWT unit.

Seasonic are one of what I would consider the tier 1 OEM PSU manufacturers for desktop PC's.
There are three tier one manufacturers in my opinion.

Flextronic
Seasonic
Delta

Then after that there are quite a few tier two OEM manufacturers.
CWT fall into this category in my opinion.

Any of these Tier 1's produce White PSU's? Or anyone have any recommendations of PSU's available with Enermax/Seasonic/etc internals but otherwise branded available in white?

Bit cheeky asking here I know - but none of the new ranges from popular vendors are (a) in white (b) in stock (c) sensibly priced! :(

The only ones that spring to mind are NZXT Hale90 which are made by Super Flower.

You can return to OcUK for the lifetime of the warranty, or you can ship directly to Antec in Holland, if you dont want to do that you can ship it to myself in the UK. I can handle it for you.

Thats very nice CS!

Deciding on whether to go Corsair or Antec at the moment (my current is an Antec Earthwatts and its been great) and stuff like that helps immensely.
