Anyone have any recommendations for another email app apart from default iOS email? I use Imap services for my business email and find it a bit chaotic trying to sort out new clients.

Any advice welcome.

Out of all the default apps I have used on iPads and all different brands of android phones (Sony, HTC, Samsung, even Vanilla) the apple offering to me is easily the best. I use it with 2 IMAP and 1 exchange account with absolutely zero issues.

I use Cloudmagic and Boxer.
Boxer had some big issues for me last year but updates seem to have fixed these. Particularly like the send to option which allows connection to Evernote for archiving useful emails.

Still annoying the default app has to be the IOS built in one though.

That pretty much means I just go back to using Mail.

OP - when you say chaotic what do you mean? I find Mail about standard to most email apps, except if I'm using gmail then the gmail app or inbox are probably better to use with gmail features.

Honestly, iOS 8's Mail is so much better than previous releases. Provided that you understand the following, it works extremely well:
  • Gmail uses a single mailbox with labels;
  • Mail uses separate mailboxes (both on the Mac and on iOS);
  • Therefore you can only have one label per email managed in Mail;
I've tried Mailbox, Cloudmagic, etc. etc., and frankly the integration with the rest of the OS makes it an easy choice IMO.

I do wonder what the OP means by chaotic also; it's no different to any other email app?

I use the primary, social and promotions categories on my gmail account.

Do these integrate well using the native iOS email app? Or any of the other 3rd party ones apart from gmail or Google inbox app?

Don't really want to see the promotion email mixed with my proper emails
