Just a quick question, my loop consists of nickel, copper and brass (fittings obviously) and the coolant is going to be distilled water, mayhems red dye and PT Nuke (biocide), do I need an anti corrosion additive as well?

Thanks for the help!

Aluminium and copper are the ones you really don't want to mix. Copper and Nickel should be fine. Not sure about the chrome on the brass fittings, most fittings I see are Nickel plated brass. I think Brass is fine too and is commonly used in radiators.

Nickel plated brass is probably correct, I just read the colour of XSPC compressions and assumed chrome.

Thanks for the responses, from what I gather its probably not needed , but wouldn't hurt to have anyway?

As GoogalyMoogaly mentioned, Aluminium with anything else is bad.

If you want to know the science behind it, google "galvanic series table"

Ok, thanks for all the help guys! I will read about the galvanic series table a bit later thanks!

@xTremedetailz really? I thought PTNuke was the popular one, and as such would be pretty safe to use.

Yes it is a good one but from testing with and without i have found my tygon clouds a lot faster with it.

Thats using 3 sets of brand new tygon and one set of thermochill.
