anti-static mat?

i want to give my pc a good clean out (as i'm moving)... whilst making sure i don't damage any of the parts!

i've checked on the website but can't find an anti-static mat and or wristband (perhaps i missed it)?! also... i was wondering if oc stocked cleaning wipes for my monitor... lol

Just keep your psu plugged in (but turned off at the switch) now your entire case is earthed, so just touch the metal bits of your case regularly to get rid of any static build up.

hmm... the problem is, i plan to take parts out because when the pc was originally built for me, the cables were not properly arranged (no ties were used) and so its a bit of a mess in there

Get some compressed air if its dusty.

Your fine to take them out just stick them in a anti static bag if your really worried. Iv never had a problem in the past sticking parts on a wood or glass table.

As mentioned try leave ur PSU plugged into the wall but all switched off so you can use the case often as a earth point for yourself.

Lol prolly best to do it away from any carpet to be on the safe side.
