Sometimes when you go into a computer shop or to a fair they have their goods stored in racks or foam padding.

I'm looking to store memory sticks and Hard drives in drawers and wanted some kind of rack to put them in.

Does anyone know where you get such things?

I presume shops get them when they order a load of OEM Cpu's, Hard drives and Memory sticks. I have searched and searched on Google and just can't find anywhere that supplies such things.

Any help appreciated.

I found racks to be rather expensive (well only found a laminate style job for shelving) and ended up buying a few sheets of foam to layer and sandwich components in-between in my draw.

A certain auction site sells 1mx1mx6mm foam for around £23.00.

Cant find anything on OCUK.

Never heard of a rack to store memory or harddrives in. Just keep them in antistatic bags and they'll be fine whereever you put them. The only exception I'd make is for CPUs - these go in foam bags to protect their pins.

It would be a lot cheaper to put them in anti static bags and put them in a drawer, maybe with something soft in there to. You can get like 100 bags really cheap on the bay.

Icy Box IB-AC626 ? dont think ocuk sell this but ive seen it for less than 30 in a few places.

edit: ofc this isnt cheap if you have say 20 hard drives you need to store :p but if its just a few and you want to move them around etc :o
