Not sure if i bought the right switch's as there not momentory, will they stick work though??
1 to power on with led
1 reset, using hdd led??

How do you wire them, they are phobya switch's and also got the phobya cables.
The led's are straight forward but which connections do i use??

NC
NO
C

Power to no and c, led to relative +/-.

Give me chance to get home I have a diagram I made for av switch wiring :)

Yep which is why it needs to be no (normally open) and common, so when you press the switch it makes a circuit to power up/reset the machine. If it were nc (normally closed) and common the system would go into constant power/reset cycles I'd imagine :)

Reset wired the same, be home shortly and sort out that diagram, turns out 'share' from dropbox mobile doesn't do what it says on the tin

Np nick hope it helps, baffling they don't provide instructions with these things.

Yeah i thought that too, ;)

Now got to work out where i'm gonna put them, dont want to drill my case! May do it in one of the 6x 5.25 bay covers but it means pushing the fan back 1.5 inches so would need to make some standoffs or similar.

Only got power switch connected at mo to test, and need to split the cable i got, as the power led connection is 3 pin spacing and not 2!! Need a tiny spade connector or something??

Connector at switch end or motherboard end? My dimastech wires are spade at switch end loose single i/o blocks at motherboard end.

If the phobya cables are gash give me a nudge on steam or email nick, I should have some dimastech ones kicking about.

they are called dupont connectors if you need to get any more, but tbh, i just used a pair of side cutters and cut the terminals out of the connectors, and just used them like that, i did order some more of the connectors (1 pin ones) but never bothered to use them as they worked fine without...

if i can find them il pop them in the post to you.

Thx Dave/Paul, will more than likely just cut the connector in half.

Any eta on cables Dave, in Lian li's wisdom there is not enough room to slide the 24pin through the grommet with the drive caddy in place, so have to slide it back to fit it through and can't tidy the rest of the cable web till I get them, no rush!! :D
