I'm looking to build a small wooden stand to put my case onto, the stand will be a piece of wood with two strips acting as feet. This is to lift the case up so i can slide an LCD TV stand underneath as space is limited where I am.
However I'm a bit worried about vibration from case fans. The idea is to use two pieces of wood with a rubber material sandwiched in the middle as the main piece the case sits on, with with extra rubber material on the feet strips.
But can anybody recommend a material? Reading the blurb about the rubber acousti fan mounts, they claim that a soft material is best rather than a dense hard one, what are your suggestions?
