Anti-Virus for 64 Bit Vista

Hi all,

I am looking for some anti-virus for my new Home Premium 64 Bit Vista.

At the moment I have avast free version installed. However I am always a little skeptical about the free programs as I always question just how good a job they are doing.

I am also looking at:
AVG Pro (Free version does not support 64 bit)
NOD32

When I installed the trial version of NOD32 there was something called AMON running that seemed to be constantly accessing my HDD.

Anyone got any advice for me. Just after one that does not use to many resources really. Avast seems to be doing the trick but I really know nothing about how good it is.

NOD32 all the way. Small resource usage and scans all the files you use an open.

Avast is free for Vista 64 if you want a free one. AVG you have to pay for the 64bit version.

i use avast and like it. However when it scanned my other drive connected with xp on it found no viruses but when i booted xp today mcafee found one.

NOD32 or Kaspersky are the only two options to look at. Much better than the rest.

Can't fault Kaspersky. It's the best piece of software I have on the computer

humm, didn't think of that And i'm pretty sure the file was in system32 as well now that i think about it.

AVG Pro is very gd coz i am using it in vista x64
