There are several reasons why I am asking

I have an old OEM copy of Norton Internet Suite thing and once you install it 3 times on the same PC it won't let you install it anymore; Is this still the case?

Price is also a major factor

for example

McAfee 8in1 2007 is about £25 retail, but the OEM version is around £5 saving around £20.

Do yourself a favour.
Follow this link:

Now buy yourself a copy of NOD32.
You've got various options available to you.
I purchased the license for 3 PC's for 3 years worth of updates - a bargain at £129 (works out at £14 per PC per year).
Cheapest option is the £23 license for 1 PC for 1 year. (less than £2 a month, still a bargain).

You are given a license key so can install it any number of times on your own machine during the license period.

I have a router ;)

And ive used Kapersky before

I was using McAfee as an example

Cheers guys

BTW Stoofa, hows the S13 comming along? :)

oh and bledd, whats wrong with my post count ? lol

You could try sending it to Symantec in Ireland if it’s refusing to activate. Directs you to page on their site.

Had a retail Norton Internet Security 2004 that wouldn't activate after a re-installation (around August 2006). I knew I wouldn't get any updates due to the one year license had expired, but still wanted to use it for the firewall. As a bonus received 2006 disk in return.
