Ive got avast at the moment but it makes my PC really slow to boot up and not as quick as it was before - anything faster and less of a system hog?

I couldn't believ the speed difference. will be using Nod32 for the foreseeable future, and as stated above, it a bargain.

Yep. I use AVG but set it up so it doesn't run until I tell it to as I cannot stand the way anti viri software has become over-intrusive and under-configurable in recent years.
