Anti-Virus - What to choose?

Well im building a PC christmas, and i want this computer to be virus free, fast and safe.

I currently have Total Care Gold Support Package.

Shall i use this or should i use a free one?

How reliable are free Anti-Viruses, i play CS:S competative, and on my current PC i get pop-ups what close my game for updates i dont want any of that what do you reccomend?

Avast and superantuispyware.

No need to pay. Just don't go downloading and installing rubbish. Or clicking on any old porn site. stick to the main ones without rubbish.
