At the moment I have Norton anti-virus. I know many people dont like this and have various reasons for it. However I have been very happy with the software for the last 3 years. However the time has come for me to upgrade as my subsriptions run out. Shall i just fork out for the new one, or are any of you bold enough to convince me otherwise and use something else!!! Thanks.

Reviews seem pretty good. Does it have a firewall of some kind? Does it have any other useful features? it seems fairly simple, i like the idea of norton doing everything for me, virus blocking, firewall etc. Any other views?

Ok just to point something out, Symantec have done a LOT of work on the 2007 versions of their AV and Firewall and it now, much to my surprise, takes up very little memory and processor. I've stuck the eval of 2007 on my machine after running the KIS 6 system for a long time as Kaspersky have got some big problems with the AVP.exe process going nuts and the betas have a bug which means that a lot of sites don't work as port 80 is getting messed up by the AV.
