AVG Free

It was good until Version 8, 7.5 was really good. However, now I believe the above.

and NOD32 is the best around, even with Vista Ultimate 64bit, cos im using Avast Pro now...

i'm going by the number of pc's i've fixed that were riddled with viruses, that also had avg installed

it's as if it slows down your pc for no reason, then says "hey boys, come on in, i'll tell them everything's hunky-dory"

I have noticed a pretty noticeable difference since moving to Avast actually, booting is a lot quicker, and smaller stamp on resources, scanning is improved etc.

But I only encountered problems with AVG recently, but Avast is brilliant. Avira is also good as well, but Avast is better.
