Hello all,

What would you say the best Free Anti-Virus is?

I am currently using Avast

Fair enough, I used AVG before but i got one of my email accounts hacked so i uninstall it. What make you change from Avast to AVG free?

Free: AVG.

Pay for: Eset NOD32.

I'm not a huge fan of AVG, It gives too many false positives.

I am using Avast at the mo. Was looking at maybe changing to microsoft security essentials Good idea or bad idea?

I use MSE as AVG ended up stopping me from playing some games properly, it uses less resources and I don't notice it's there.

The best anti virus tends to be not being stupid though.

everyone I know who used AVG got a virus!

Do you bank with barclays? They give you Kaspersky internet security for free which is what I have

Sadly i dont have Barclays

Thats why i removed AVG,

Microsoft Security Essentials comes with a firewall as well, but if you want extra protection then use Comodo Firewall as well

I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials as well as Comodo Firewall, whatever goes in or out, it will alert you so this will give you more protection

Cheers, Many people i have talk to are saying i should us Avast and Window Firewall, i might have to use MSE and Comodo Firewall.
