I've inherited this mahogany scroll arm chair from my grandad.

Thing is... it's a bit broken :(

The upholstery and old webbing needs to be stripped out back to the original frame. It then needs new webbing and reupholstering. We would use the original pad again if it was in good condition and build new edges, then recover in your choice of covering fabric.
It would cost about £100, depending on how much of the original pad we used again. It would cost an additional £65 to polish the chair before upholstery if you required.

I don't know if it's worth it. Anyone here have a clue?

Sentimental value doesn't really come into it.

I'm more interested in whether anyone knows what it is, and what it's worth. Then the decision should be fairly easy.
