what are you guys doing for anti spam for exchange?

Hosted?
Gateway box?
Exchange Plugin?

Any recommendations, having real problems with spam and spamassassin doesn't seem to be coping anymore!

Postfix with MailScanner and Spamassassin on an external box here, scans it and then forwards to our exchange, saves downloading all the spam on our ADSL line. When you say spamassassin isnt working anymore, are you sure the bayesian filter is actually learning? I Had a problem a while back where the db was corrupt and it never learned. I had to re-initialise the database and start again, but have over 2M messages in the database now. might be worth runnind a debug on SA and checking that the spam and nspam count is increasing with each message.

you might be on to something there Did notice some logging problems a while ago but thought nothing of it


I did give mailscanner a try although using sendmail, seemed to be a nice bit of kit but i wanted to see what the other options were before implementing it (esp seeing as its spamassassin based)
