Think my mac may have been compromised, just want to give it a check.

What Free AV antispyware/ anti maleware is good for macs?

I don't know what to suggest because I don't use any but I'm intrigued as to why you think you've got something. What do you think you've picked up and how?

Just got a phone call from the bank today saying that someone had tried to get some money out of my account, lucky it got blocked.

Just paid a bill on line with the card a few days before, its a card i use every day in shops so it could be from there.
Just wanted to check

If it's one you use every day then it's most likely something other than malware on your Mac if it isn't showing any other symptoms.

Have you had any "flash player" installers pop up out of nowhere.

I'm just asking because the latest version of one trojan that masquerades as a flash player installer disables the automatic updating of the OSX anti-malware tool (besides a majority of mac based malware is caught by that tool).

Dont think so, just used eset cybersecurity on it and theres nothing there.

I very much doubt your mac been compromised; been doing internet banking and shopping on my mac and I've never had an issue; in fact I actually purposely use my mac for this stuff now rather than Windows for the very reason of snooping/loggers etc....
