Hi folks, I drive a car but don't intend to get insurance. Can anyone reccomend a good solicitor?
Why don't you intend to install antivirus software? Its a given these days that you really shouldn't be without it. Personally, I use avast because it is free and doesn't have a hit on performance like Mcafee did. If you want paid for, then Nod 32 is a good choice also.
For online scanners, the ones I have used in the past are housecall http://housecall65.trendmicro.com or Panda scan. These install things on your computer anyway, so I don't think there are any truely web based only virus scanners.
I would really echo what Greenlizard0 and mejinks have said. There really is no reason why you shouldn't be installing an anti-virus solution these days. Weather you really think they are useful or not, it's another line of defence which could prove to be helpful in the future.
Kaspersky also offer an online scanner. I use Avira AntiVir Premium Security Suite and love it, but I cba to get involved in yet another OcUK "I don't use antivirus because I'm 1337" argument.
