AntiVirus / VPN

My Kaspersky Premium is coming to an end shortly (1 year license) - renewal is £26 / 5 devices one year.

Hadnt really bothered with anything other than Defender previously but now feel I need 'something' - the VPN is ok for the odd time I need one but not essential. (for example coulnt watch Sky go on holiday even with vpn enabled)

Any really good Black Friday deals / better software and why?

Strangely a google search brings back MacAfee and Norton! - I always though these were the devil software wise........

I would just stick with Defender. It does quite good at most things these days.

I have not used a paid AV software in years and to be honest If I did use paid version it would not be a Russian owned 1 like Kaspersky

Don't know why you feel you need 'something'. Defender is absolutely fine. I've not installed an anti virus on a machine in years.
