My mate has virus and I dont think the comp will stay up long enough for me to install/scan his HD what are the options otherthan removing his harddrive?

Have you tried using a DOS anti virus program?

not got a floppy drive for dos , safe mode still getting reboots

What happeneds when it reboots?
Does it say "Rebooting in 60 seconds" or something like that? Sounds a bit like the MS blast virus.
