Any 1 have sammy LE32M51B? reviews plz

Any one know of reviews or have 1st hand experience with samsungs new LE32M51B. It looks pretty decent with a better panel. Just wanted to know more

If your budget stretches to it the 61B is out now (though impossible to find stock), with a newer panel and an all black design and looks stunning imo. MUCH better than the 51B and just about every other LCD TV out there as far as im concerned.

isnt it like 2k? where as the 51 is 1k?

thats what im getting or am i looking in the wrong place?

also i think 40 inch is too big for my living room.. I have read a few guildes on size of room compared to size of screen etc... and 35 is about ideal so its either 32 or 37 :/

Currently...
32" 51 is about £985.95
32" 61 is about £1,199.01
40" 61 is about £1,759.98

I have owned both LE32M51 and LE40M61. Both great. You will like either. Hard to say whether the additional cash for 61 over 51 is worth the extra as the dynamic contrast is not that great and for me is turned off and is one of the major diffs. The panel is supposed to be newer than even the Bravia in the 61 but this has not been confirmed. IMO better picture.

The 40" 61 is the EISA Award Winner.

Recommendation is to sit 3.5 times the size of the screen.

Not MUCH better. I really am struggling to find the major difference between the two panels. Like the above poster said, the only difference on paper is the 'dynamic contrast' which is just a processing feature of the panel that most people turn off.

They are both the same design, just one has a silver lower and the M61 is all black. Whether the M61 is worth the extra cash is debatable.

a) thats the r51 version (different)
b) they are a competitor blank out that name.

Sorry I did mean aesthetically only, I haven't seen the panel yet..

I'm not interested in the Samsung now as they still overscan when using the HDMI input for 1:1 pixel mapping apparently.. sigh

The M61 has a higher refresh rate ie 8ms as opposed to 12 I think, a higher standard contrast 1000:1 as opposed to 800:1 as you state, it has some pixel technology that's meant to give a better widescreen effect(dunno what that's all about), more colours(can't recall where I read that though) oh and of course it looks sexier

No, they both have an 8ms response time and the same contrast ratio. It is just the dynamic contrast ratio that is different.
