Any 5.1 speaker package feature a pre-out?

Hi all
I want to set up a 5.1 speaker package on my computer and have it take the optical in from my xbox 360 also. The Logitech Z-5500 looks perfect but I'd really like something that has a preout for the front LR channel so I can route that through my hifi for music played off the pc.
I'm thinking I could use a digital out off some soundcard to drive the logitech package and route the analog out to the hifi, but not sure if both will be active simultaneously. Otherwise, is there another speaker package that has an analog preout (that would be perfect, then I could decode all through the controller and route the front LR to the hifi speakers always)

Anyone else doing this?
Can someone recommend a good soundcard to go with this speaker package?

Thanks!

THe Z-5500's have a headphone jack, so you could use that to route sound to your hi-fi. Not done it with mine as I'm space limited in my living room (media centre) but they sound sweet enough for most CD's. But I tend to listen to music on my Technics / Mission setup in the in the other room.
