Hello,

I am on Windows XP, and use my pc in a room miles away from the main telephone socket. So I use the Buffalo Airstation G (like this one) http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21cWC2bRRVL._SL500_AA200_.jpg

However, now I am wanting to go to Vista 64 bit, and having tried it, 64 bit drivers aren't compatable with this, or i can't find any at least. Does anyone know of ony USB adaptor s that WILL work on 64 bit vista? (I may have to get another one) Can't really use pci ones as my pc slots are full with sound card and SLI GFX cards.

Running Windows XP, 2 gig ram (tracer ballistics), 750 HD, Quad 9650 CPU, Asus Striker extreme formula II mobo.

TIA:)

Try this

Cheap and works well Vista x64. Is compatible with Ralink drivers due to RT2860 chipset. Am currently running this with greater throughput so am happy. Is linked to Belkin Pre n router, but is also compatible with b/g services.

EDIT: Didn't read you were looking for a USB adapter, may help someone else though...

Thanks for replies. hmmm like that one qwerty:). Problem with products like this, is it doesn't say whether it is 64/vista compatable or anything - so i have to ask/look at people (like yourself) who actually has this working on Vista 64. Thanks, will probably get that when i order some more stuff from overclockers (several items).

Cheers

You just need to pop over to the manufacturers website and check for compatibility. I would suggest you get the PCI version and not USB unless there is no space/slots inside left.
