Essentially for my work/light gaming PC I want to run 2x 4k monitors. (Currently running 1)
Currently I'm running a 750Ti which is fine. I see that 960s have multiple DP connections. However when I have a lot of applications open at this res + a lot of virtual desktops the 2gb memory gets 75% used. Clearly the 2gb VRAM would not be sufficient for 2x 4k monitors even if the connectivity was there.
I see there's an EVGA card with 3x mini DP however I've seen these are problematic with 4k monitors so was wondering if there is
I could just get a second 750Ti but multi-card non-sli setups have some issues, especially on linux!
Speed doesn't really matter, I'd get a 960 if it had more ram.
A 980 is an option but overkill for what I need. Really it's connectivity + memory that's the issue!
