Any Actionscript wizards here?

I'm looking for a way to play a movie based on the horizontal mouse movement over it

So for example, the page loads and you move the mouse over the flash clip to the left and then across to the right, the movie will play to a particular frame based on how far to the right the mouse has moved.

Any ideas?

Id just start of with trying to get actionscript to print out how far the mouse is from the left side in percent to the right side and use that to represent the total movie frames, But id say the movie will be pretty choppy.
