Any advantage using Corsair DDR2 6400C3 with Intel

I see you can buy ultra expensive low latency DDR2 6400C3 Corsair now. Seems to be designed with the memory controllers on the AM2's in mind. Does this low latency give any tangible benefit to Intel rigs though ?Specifically I am thinking about Intel cpu's that run at the full 1066fsb. Would more traditional 8000 DDR2 at 5,5,5,15 running at 1000 or 1066mhz perform better then 6400 DDR2 at 3,4,3,9 running at 800mhz.
