Hello,

I'm this build as a general use pc but with 80% of the workload being based on design software (CAD) or photo editing along with some dabbling into animation such as cinema 4D. In the future I may consider getting into some casual gaming but would never be anything serious. I was given advice by a mate that I didn't need to bother with an unclocked CPU and to save my money on that area. I'd like to keep it as far below £600as possible please. Any advice of suggestions would be much appreciated.

Did you need an OS, monitor etc?

A GFX card will also help although you can use the onboard solution from the CPU and add one later.
 
Firstly, remove the competitor link - not allowed here

Secondly - power supply isn't good, change to a decent OEM such as Superflower or Seasonic.

If you dont care for overclocking then it can be made cheaper but still with a quad core i5 CPU.
